Choose the 5.5 inch low profile if you sleep on your back or stomach, or if you are a smaller-framed side sleeper. Choose the 7 inch high profile if you sleep on your side, have broad shoulders, or like a fuller pillow. If you are between the two, the shoulder cutout version in high profile is a good option for side sleepers.

Natural latex has a faint, slightly sweet scent when first unpacked, similar to a new rubber band. It is not chemical off-gassing and fades within a few days of airing out. Remove the pillow from its packaging, let it breathe for a day, and put the washable cover on.
What is the shoulder cutout for?
The shoulder cutout is a contoured notch along the front edge of the pillow. When you sleep on your side, your shoulder tucks into the cutout instead of pushing the pillow up and away from your neck.
