Ordering and shipping
Is shipping really free?
Yes. Every order to the contiguous 48 states ships free via FedEx Ground. Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada ship at a flat rate shown on our shipping page. We do not ship to APO addresses.
How fast will my order ship?
We ship Monday through Friday from Phoenix, AZ. Order by 2pm Arizona time and it ships the same day; otherwise it ships the next business day. Toppers, pillows, and fill typically arrive in 2 to 3 business days; mattresses in 3 to 4.
Does it ship compressed? How long does it take to expand?
Yes. Toppers, mattresses, pillows, and foam fill are vacuum-compressed for shipping. Once opened, allow 24 to 48 hours for full expansion, especially in colder weather. Foam fill fluffs up within minutes to a couple of hours.
Can I order a custom size?
Yes. We cut any rectangle up to 80 by 84 inches in half inch increments, from 1 to 4 inches thick, in gel memory foam, Talalay latex, or firm poly foam, with or without a cover. Send your measurements through our custom topper page and we reply with a written quote in 1 to 2 business days.
Do you offer business or bulk pricing?
We do work with businesses, from RV dealers to short-term rental operators. Contact us with what you need and we will put together a quote.
Mattress toppers
What is a mattress topper, and do I need one?
A mattress topper is a layer of foam, usually 2 to 4 inches thick, that sits on top of your mattress to change how it feels. If your mattress is too firm, a topper adds softness and pressure relief. If it is aging, a topper restores comfort without the cost of a new mattress. If you wake up sore or your bed has lost its feel, a topper is the easiest fix.
How do I choose between 2, 3, and 4 inches?
A 2 inch topper is a subtle upgrade that softens a firm mattress without changing its feel. A 3 inch topper is the most versatile and the most popular; it balances cushioning and support for most sleepers. A 4 inch topper gives the deepest pressure relief and the softest feel, ideal for joint pain or a worn mattress. See our thickness guide for more.
What is the difference between the Gel Mattress Topper and the 2.0?
The original Gel Mattress Topper is bare gel memory foam in 2, 3, or 4 inch thickness. The Gel Mattress Topper 2.0 is the same foam in 2 or 3 inches with a removable, machine-washable cover and built-in straps that fit mattresses from 6 to 16 inches tall. The Firm Mattress Topper is a 3 inch, two-layer design with a supportive base under the gel layer, also covered and strapped.
Can I put a topper on an old mattress?
Absolutely. Refreshing an older mattress is one of the main reasons people buy a topper. As long as the mattress is still flat and supportive, a topper will make it feel new again and extend its life.
How long does a mattress topper last?
A LOUNJ memory foam topper will last 5 to 10 years, and we guarantee it for 5. Cheaper imported toppers typically last 1 to 3 years.
Does memory foam sleep hot?
Older, dense memory foam did. Ours is gel-infused and open-cell, so it breathes and pulls heat away from your body. If you are an especially hot sleeper, our Talalay latex toppers sleep even cooler.
Is the foam safe and hypoallergenic?
Yes. Our gel memory foam is CertiPUR-US certified, fiberglass free, made without fire-retardant sprays, hypoallergenic, resistant to dust mites, mold, and mildew, and low odor. It is safe for people and pets.
Is your foam really made in the USA?
Yes. We source the chemicals, pour, cut, and package our foam ourselves in our factory in Phoenix, AZ. We are a factory, not a reseller.
What is the difference between latex and memory foam?
Memory foam contours and lets you sink in, which side sleepers love for pressure relief. Talalay latex is springy and buoyant, holds you up, and sleeps cooler. Our latex vs memory foam guide goes into detail.
RV toppers and mattresses
What size RV mattress topper do I need?
RV beds come in unusual sizes like short queen (60 x 75), RV king (72 x 80), short king (72 x 75), three quarter (48 x 75), and a range of bunk sizes. Measure your mattress across the top surface before ordering. We stock 12 RV sizes and can cut anything else to order. Our RV sizes chart lists them all.
How thick should an RV mattress topper be?
Most RV owners choose 3 inches. Go 2 inches for bunks or tight slide-out clearance, and 4 inches for a thin or worn mattress that needs rescuing.
Will a topper make my RV bed more comfortable?
Yes. Factory RV mattresses are thin and firm. A gel memory foam topper adds plush comfort, pressure relief, and cooling, and it hides lumps and mild sag.
Will an RV topper help with back pain?
Usually. A topper cushions pressure points and improves spinal alignment, especially when the RV mattress is too firm or worn out. If the mattress is sagging, fix the platform first; see our sagging RV mattress guide.
What makes your RV toppers different?

Should I get the 8 inch or 10 inch RV mattress?
The Medium 8 inch is best for most people and fits most RVs, campers, and trailers. The Soft 10 inch works better for side sleepers over 200 lbs, since it has more foam to absorb pressure.
Does the RV mattress contain fiberglass?
No. The LOUNJ RV Mattress is fiberglass free and made without fire-retardant sprays.
Is the RV mattress cover washable?
You can spot clean the charcoal cooling cover. We recommend using sheets or a mattress protector if you expect spills or messes.
Pillows
Which loft should I choose for the Talalay latex pillow?
Side sleepers and broader shoulders generally do best with the High Profile (7 inch). Back sleepers, stomach sleepers, and smaller frames usually prefer the Low Profile (5.5 inch). Both lofts are available with the shoulder cutout. Read our loft guide for details.
Is the Talalay latex pillow firm?
No. Talalay latex is soft, responsive, and supportive at the same time. It compresses comfortably under your head and bounces right back.
Will the latex pillow go flat?
No. Talalay latex is extremely resilient and holds its shape for years.
Does the latex pillow have an odor?
Natural latex may have a slight, natural scent when first unboxed. It fades after airing out for a day or two.
How much fill should I use in the Adjustable Pillow?
It ships full, which suits most side sleepers. Back sleepers usually remove a little; stomach sleepers remove more. Take out a handful at a time and sleep on each height for two nights before adjusting again. Extra fill is included in the box for topping up later.
Does the Adjustable Pillow sleep hot?
The fill is gel-infused and shredded, so air moves between the clusters instead of getting trapped. Fluff it before bed to open those gaps back up.
Are the pillow covers washable?
Yes. The Talalay latex pillows and the Adjustable Pillow have removable, machine-washable zipper covers.
Foam fill
How much shredded foam do I need?
As a rule of thumb: 5 lb fills about 2 cubic feet (a small pillow or cushion), 10 lb about 4 cubic feet (2 to 3 pillows), 20 lb about 8 cubic feet (a small bean bag or several cushions), and 40 lb about 16 cubic feet (a large bean bag or dog bed). Measure length x width x height in feet for cubic feet, and add 10 to 20 percent for a firmer fill. Our foam fill guide has worked examples.
Is there any mix or filler in your shredded foam?
No. It is 100 percent gel memory foam shredded from the same blocks we pour for our toppers, with no fillers, scraps, or mixed materials.
What can I use it for?
Bean bags, pillows and cushions, pet beds, stuffed toys and crafts, and reupholstering chairs and couches.
Can I adjust the firmness?
Yes. Add more foam for a firmer feel or remove some for a softer, more relaxed cushion.
Returns and warranty
What is your return policy?
Every product comes with our 30-Night Happiness Guarantee. You have 30 days from delivery to return it, and returns are free with no fees. We ask that you try toppers and pillows for at least 10 nights and mattresses for at least 15 before returning. Contact us first to start the process. Full details are on our returns page.
Are custom orders returnable?
Custom-cut pieces are made to your dimensions, so they cannot be returned for size. Manufacturing defects are covered by the 5-year warranty.
What warranty do you offer?
10 years on mattresses and 5 years on toppers, pillows, and foam fill. The warranty covers defects in the foam and materials under normal use. See our warranty page for coverage details.

Yes. Our gel memory foam and our high-density base foam are both CertiPUR-US certified, which means they are made without ozone depleters, PBDE, TDCPP, or TCEP flame retardants, heavy metals, formaldehyde, or regulated phthalates, and have low VOC emissions.
