Gel infusion changes the equation two ways. Gel particles blended into the foam absorb and spread heat instead of letting it concentrate under your torso, and an open-cell structure gives warm air a path out through the foam rather than holding it against your skin.
The result is a topper that still molds to your shoulder and hip, still isolates motion so a partner’s turning does not wake you, and still quiets an innerspring, but does not build heat through the night the way older memory foam did. Unboxing and care
The topper ships compressed and rolled by FedEx Ground, free to the lower 48, and arrives in 2-3 business days. Does a gel memory foam mattress topper really sleep cooler?
Cooler than standard memory foam, yes. The gel spreads heat instead of letting it pool under you, and the open-cell foam lets warm air escape. It is not a cold surface; it is a neutral one. What is the difference between gel memory foam and regular memory foam?
